LONDON'S MOST GORGEOUS HOTELS

There is nothing quite like a festive, gorgeous hotel in the city. If there were ever a time to treat yourself, it would be the holiday season in London. But even taking a peak inside these decadent hotels would be a treat.

I have walked by this hotel many times. With a convenient location on Piccadilly, right next to Green Park station, it is impossible to miss. Personally, I was happy just looking at this hotel with its glimmering lights and shiny black taxis. But, if you wanted to pamper yourself as a guest, there are celebrations and events going on throughout the season. They don't call it the ritz for nothing. 

CLARIDGE'S

This is a place I can actually picture waking up in on Christmas morning...in my dreams. Claridge's has long been associated with Christmas in London because of its designer Christmas trees, afternoon tea and joyful atmosphere. Set in Mayfair, it is known for being timeless and luxurious. At the same time, it is also warm and welcoming. If you were to have one memorable Christmas Eve in your lifetime, it would be well spent here. 

THE SAVOY

The Savoy is about as glamorous as it gets. Located riverside, it boasts beautiful views in the heart of the city. It has it all in terms of rich history, architecture and luxury. It is no wonder why it has been hosting famous figures and celebrities for over a hundred years. 

HOTEL CAFE ROYAL

With a location on Regent Street, this hotel is already a step above the others. Regent Street at Christmas, or really any time of the year, is one of my favourite places in the world. At Christmas, it is enough to make my eyes water just thinking of the twinkling angelic lights. The Hotel Cafe Royal has always been known for its afternoon tea and with world-class shopping at your fingertips, you can't ask for a better setting.

MANDARIN ORIENTAL HYDE PARK

This hotel has an atmosphere made for Christmas with a Knightsbridge location. With Harrods and Hyde Park at your doorstep, you could have yourself a fairytale holiday. From fine dining to decor, the Mandarin Oriental puts careful and magical detail into the experience. You will also be in Edwardian architectural heaven between the hotel itself and the surrounding neighbourhood. We love a Knightsbridge moment.
