25 THINGS TO DO IN LONDON DURING CHRISTMAS

Experiencing London during Christmas holds some of my most treasured memories. I loved reminiscing while writing this list. If you ever find yourself in this city during the holidays, here are some ways to enjoy it to the fullest:




1. Join the crowd under Oxford Street's famous light display.





2. Put on your best coat and take a winter walk through St James's Park.





3. Go see 'The Nutcracker' by the English National Ballet.





4. Stroll South Bank while sipping mulled wine.





5. Try ALL the festive treats at Borough Market.





6. Take an evening spin around the London Eye and watch the city light up.





7. Sing along with carolers in Trafalger Square.





8. See a pantomime.





9. Admire the beautiful store window displays.





10. Spend a night at the museum, the National History Museum that is, and see why everyone falls in love with its holiday atmosphere.





11. Ice skate at the iconic Somerset House.





12. Eat at the Harrods Food Hall.





13. Enjoy the many buskers and street performers lining Leicester Square.





14. Go shopping in the charming Seven Dials district, a hidden gem that always sparkles this time of year.





15. Take a stroll through Notting Hill and note the adorably decorated homes.





16. Attend a service at one of London's many historic cathedrals.





17. Have afternoon tea in a festive hotel or lounge.





18. Go to a West End show-there is something about walking out of the cold and into a cozy old theatre.





19. If you are traveling with kids, take them to the Hamleys toy store on Regents Street.





20. Visit Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland carnival.




21. Have a pint in a warm pub.





22. Look out for street vendors selling seasonal snacks, such as caramelized nuts, near the River Thames throughout winter.





23. Look up at Covent Garden's massive, sparkling Christmas tree.





24. Attend a concert at Royal Albert Hall.





25. Head to Soho and revel in Carnaby Street's brilliant decorations and cool independent boutiques.
