Gail's Bakery is an established and successful bakery chain with stores all over the UK. No matter where you go in London, you are sure to find one. But there was something special about visiting the original location on Hampstead High Street. I have been wanting to visit Hampstead for years. On my last trip to London, I finally took that trip up north and was happy I did.  Despite being home to wealthy celebrity figures, athletes and musicians, the neighbourhood remains ridiculously down-to-earth and charming. I was hooked immediately. Even though I had planned to stop at Gail's, I stumbled on it accidentally. With a prime location on the high street, a few minutes away from the tube station, the adorable storefront is instantly recognizable and too tempting to pass up.
